After staying home all of 2017, I knew that I wanted to do something different during 2018 – something fun, related to my interests, and not in my hometown. Connect-123 helped me find a fantastic internship teaching English at a summer camp in Shanghai. Not only was my internship incredibly fun, but it also helped me learn more about what I do and don’t want to do in the future. Living in Shanghai for two months was fun and helped me improve my Chinese. My time in Shanghai was terrific and helped me grow as a person.
