I have enjoyed my internship working at a foster home in Shanghai. I was always fond of babies but didn’t actually have too much experience with them prior to this internship. During the 2 months spent working with them, I have grown to be very attached and have a better understanding of them. It was quite hard to say goodbye at the end of the internship.

Being a part of Connect-123 was a wonderful way of meeting new people and participating in group activities. Our program coordinator Jimmy organized many trips that were fun and educational to us, including a trip to Hangzhou, Zhouzhang and KTV in Shanghai. Overall, I have had a wonderful time in Shanghai and I wish I could stay longer!
